Out. But the right way. Those who come to us really get out and about. Both in summer and winter, our region offers many opportunities for alpine activities. Anyone who ventures out here needs a minimum of alpine experience. Otherwise you should entrust yourself to a mountain guide.
In spring, when the first migratory birds head north, the touring season and thus the winter season begins in the Aletsch region. From around mid-March to the end of May, conditions at these altitudes are often ideal with a well-snowed glacier and stable snow conditions. The Konkordiahütte is then continuously manned. The Aletsch region is predestined for extended ski tours lasting several days. The numerous huts are ideally distributed so that a change of hut can be ideally combined with one or more summit destinations, depending on requirements and conditions.
The summer season usually starts in mid-June and lasts until the end of September. The unique region with the longest alpine glacier and numerous famous peaks attracts mountain enthusiasts from all over the world to this area. But it's not just experienced alpinists who come here. Summer after summer, numerous inexperienced glacier hikers also put themselves in the care of mountain guides and experience this fascinating glacier world up close.
